Chroma Blocks ("the game", "we", "us") is a single-player puzzle game published by Ruben Bilbulyan (AtomnyX). This policy explains what data the game does and does not handle.
We, the developer, do not collect your name, email, or contacts, and we run no analytics of our own. The game plays fully offline and needs no account. Two optional online features involve third parties: the game shows ads through Google AdMob (which uses an advertising identifier and device information), and it offers an optional High Scores leaderboard that uses Google Play Games if you choose to sign in. You can remove ads with a one-time in-app purchase.
We, the developer, do not collect names, emails, location, contacts, photos, or our own tracking identifiers, and we do not run our own analytics. Data leaves your device only through the two third-party features described below — advertising (Google AdMob) and the optional Google Play Games leaderboard — and in both cases that data is handled by Google, not stored by us.
Chroma Blocks shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve, cap and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and uses your device's advertising ID and technical device information (such as device type, coarse location derived from IP address, and how you interact with ads). This data is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. Ads may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your consent choices.
Where required (for example, in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), the game shows a consent form before any ads load, and you can change your choice at any time using the Privacy options link in the game's main menu.
You can remove ads with an optional one-time in-app purchase. Rewarded ads — short videos you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game bonus — remain available. In-app purchases are handled by Google Play Billing; we do not receive your payment card details.
Your best score, daily-streak progress and sound/vibration settings are saved locally on your device (using the operating system's standard app-storage) so the game can remember them. This local copy never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you uninstall the game.
If you choose to use the High Scores leaderboard or achievements, the game uses Google Play Games Services to sign you in and to record your scores. When you do this, Google Play Games provides the game with your Play Games identity (your gamer ID, gamer tag and avatar), and the scores you submit are sent to and stored on Google's servers so they can be ranked against other players. This data is transmitted securely (encrypted in transit using HTTPS) and is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. The Google Play Games SDK may also collect diagnostics and analytics data to keep the service stable and secure.
Other players who use the leaderboard may see your gamer tag, avatar and submitted scores, according to the visibility settings you control in your Play Games profile. If you never sign in to Google Play Games, none of this applies and no such data is collected.
You can delete your Play Games data for this game, or your whole Play Games account and its data, at any time through your Google Play Games profile or your Google Account. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's system settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads). The data saved on your device is removed when you uninstall the game.
Chroma Blocks is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not specifically directed at children under 13. Because it shows ads and uses an advertising identifier, it is not designed for use by young children.
